Recently we have heard from many contractors that they are having a hard time finding the Renovate Right Brochure from the EPA. As we did some research recently we found that you can get the form easily enough if you want to purchase them by searching on Google or other search engines on the internet. However it can be costly to purchase the preprinted brochure which is not a legally protected form that would restrict you from printing or copying it yourself. Many printing companies have their different way of marketing the form with adding forms to the package or just the brochure itself. We found that the price can range anywhere from 50 cents per copy all the way to $3.00 per copy.
Lets face it, How many times have you walked out of a customer's house and thought about what they have done with the brochure that you have paid for and gave to the customer at no charge? I believe most people put it in the trash before you walk off of their property, we all know that it is the law that we give it to the customer but no where in the law does it say that they must read it. Printer Tips:
1- If you are printing in your home or office we suggest that you print it in black or white (Gray Scale), This is going to keep your cost as low as possible.
2- Printing on a laser printer is most likely going to be faster and a little less expensive.
3- If you have a printer that can print in duplex (two sided) this is going to save your cost on paper.
4- The most cost effective is if you go to a self service print shop and run copies in black and white.
5- If you are going to print at home I would suggest you look for a lower cost ink supplier. I have no connection but, I have had very good luck (especially for my laser printer) using this place:
